Upgrade Cargo Elevator Antennas Fast in ARC Raiders with U4G

The Phantom Targets project starts with an objective that sounds more complicated than it really is: upgrade the antennas on Cargo Elevators. You'll soon find that these aren't special lifts hidden inside warehouses. They're the extraction platforms spread around several maps. Once you know what to look for, the task becomes a quick stop during an ordinary raid, especially if you've already sorted your ARC Raiders BluePrints and have a few reliable weapons ready. The main challenge isn't the interaction itself. It's reaching the platform, finding the antenna, and staying alive long enough to finish the progress bar.

Where Cargo Elevators Are Found

Cargo Elevators appear in Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Riven Tides. They sit at extraction locations, so checking your map for an extraction symbol is usually the quickest way to narrow down the search. When you arrive, don't waste time searching nearby buildings. Look for the raised structure with a route leading up to its upper deck. The antenna is mounted near the edge of that platform, often in a spot that gives you a clear view of the surrounding area. That view can help, but it also means other players may notice you while you're working. Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport tend to be the easier choices for a fast run because their layouts offer several possible elevators within a manageable distance.

How the Antenna Interaction Works

Climb onto the top of the Cargo Elevator and move towards the antenna. A prompt should appear when you're close enough. Hold the interaction button and wait for the progress bar to finish. It only takes a few seconds, but those seconds matter in a busy extraction zone. Keep your camera moving where possible, listen for footsteps, and avoid standing right on the outer edge if you can. The game doesn't always provide a satisfying visual change after the upgrade, which causes plenty of confusion. If you're unsure whether it counted, open the Phantom Targets Project menu and check the objective total. That menu is more dependable than looking at the antenna and guessing whether anything has changed.

Finishing Three Upgrades in One Run

With a little route planning, you can handle all three antennas during one deployment. Start with the elevator closest to your landing point, then move towards another extraction site rather than wandering through the middle of the map. Take cover when crossing open ground and don't pick fights just to clear a path. The objective doesn't ask you to defeat anyone, so a quiet approach usually works better. Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport are good places to try this because you can often link several extraction points without travelling across the entire map. Riven Tides is still perfectly suitable, though the route may take more time depending on your spawn and the current player traffic. If you're taken out before completing the route, the antennas you already upgraded should still count towards the project.

Prepare for the Objectives That Follow

Phantom Targets doesn't stop with the elevator task. Later objectives ask you to use specific ARC components and deal with enemies using particular types of equipment. It's worth picking up Pop Triggers, Wasp Drivers, and Leaper Pulse Units whenever they appear during normal raids. That approach feels much less tiring than trying to collect everything in a rush after the next stage opens. Your workshop deserves attention too. Better crafting options and stronger equipment can make the later missions far less awkward. Keep a sensible reserve of healing supplies, ammunition, and movement tools before heading towards an elevator. You don't need the most expensive loadout. You need gear you know how to use, plus enough spare capacity to bring useful materials home.

Final Thoughts

The first Phantom Targets objective is mainly a test of awareness. Cargo Elevators are extraction platforms, not indoor freight lifts, and the antenna is on the upper deck. Remember that detail and the mission becomes much clearer. Choose a map with a practical route, check the project menu after each interaction, and leave unnecessary fights alone. A careful run can cover several elevators before extraction, while even a failed attempt still leaves you with useful progress if one or two upgrades were completed. Keep building your supplies and improving your workshop with suitable ARC Items, and you'll be in a much better position when the event moves into its more demanding stages.
